Blue Mountains and Aussie Wildlife!

As promised, here are some of the photos of my adventures so far.  Unfortunately, I found out the hard way the uploading photos takes a ton of time, so if you want to see the full album, check out my Facebook album, which I will try to link later on.  I have to say, the Blue Mountains are some of the most beautiful sights and I highly recommend taking a hike here sometime, although the train on the mountain is a hell of a scary ride O.O  The wildlife park was also fun as I got to cuddle a Koala that was chiller than most stoners, and feed some incredibly friendly kangaroos and make bros with an emu!  Till next time, this is Derpy Down Under!

Recent Adventures

Hello all!  Sorry for not posting much lately, but the last couple of days have been very busy indeed.  So far I have explored Sydney, seen Manly Island, hiked the Blue Mountains, petted and fed various Australian wildlife, and took a train that was steeper than a roller coaster.  Unfortunately, due to a data limit on WiFi that my apartment has, I cannot upload pictures at this time, but I will be trying to upload all the pictures I took sometime Sunday when I can find a place with unlimited WiFi.  Plus, I will have a chance to go into more detail then because a blog without pictures, especially in this case, is not justifiable.  So till next time, this is Derpy Down Under, which unlike Ron Burgundy, will not tell you to go f*** yourself.  Unless your into that kind of stuff :P

After spending a good part of the last 24 hours cramped into an economy class seat aboard Qantas where the meal portions were smaller than a Hummer drivers you-know-what, Derpy and I finally got a chance to check out our new digs for the next three months.  I have to say, this place is swell as hell (Derpy agrees too!), not to mention the sensation of lying in a bed after sleeping in an airplane seat has no words worthy enough to describe it.
Meeting the roommates, they all seem really chill and relaxed, and I look forward to adventuring throughout the Down Under with them, wherever our travels and adventures shall take us.  Till next time, this is Derpy Down Under, saying to keep it clean, and keep it awesome!*

Heading Out!

Hi all!  Today is the day I head out on my three month adventure!  As I mentioned in my introduction post, I decided to name this blog Derpy Down Under due to it starring our titular character, Derpy!  Who can be seen excitedly sitting on top of my bags as well as the hat next to it.  For the next three months keep on eye out on our wall-eyed friend (or the hat) as photos are journals are posted about this exciting time!
